Well, since I'm being referred to as a product whore, I thought I would comment (milkmage your mother should really wash your mouth out with soap...or sour milk). I highly suggest you to dig a little deeper on my site and find out what it is truly about. It's a service to help people save money - these food companies are products that people consume. I do have ads on my site, but many of them are coupon sites to help people save money. So, if you want to judge me for helping other people save money - go ahead and waste your energy. Yes, you would be wasting your energy indeed because I've helped thousands get through this depressed economy and I am VERY PROUD of what I do! What have you done?Yes, there is obesity in this country. But, as a mother my responsibility as a parent to feed my child - not the food companies. Sure, they will market their products, who doesn't? No one in my family is obese because I ensure they eat balanced meals and healthful snacks. Oh, and *GASP* they can have the occasional junk food - WHO CARES??!! Everything in moderation is fine. I've lost quite a bit of weight to show for it too!I will continue to go on corporate events to learn more about the company and have a respectable dialogue with them, whether it it with the food companies mentioned in this piece. For them specifically encouraging more healthy products and coupons to save are the priority for my family and my blog's readership. I am a voice in this small world of blogging - in this small world in general. I will choose to use my blog to help make positive change and not bash or criticize. I encourage those who want to focus their energy on the negative to do the same.
