It's hypocritical to go around to other nations demanding greater internet freedom while violating the oath he swore to protect freedom domestically. It's not just Obama in this government who has violated it. The government is large enough that they can pass the buck and never be held accountable.

Series today seem to go for broke in the drama department. It worked for a handful of series, such as BSG, but BSG still had space battles and toaster shootouts.While I appreciate characters aren't as two-dimensional as those often found in '80s shows, I think TV execs need to understand that we still crave special effects, explosions, and action. Also, dial down the drama just a tad because it's gotten to be about as absurd as those two-dimensional characters of the '80s, just in a different way.?
You dont really need that on a console either. Its just stupid. |

I have to agree. Large companies are like this. They have systems in place for various reason, some of which may not make logical sense. I don't think the contractor necessarily did anything wrong but if he had been working on this deal for 3+ months, what would a couple more days have hurt?I understand the absurdity of having to have a laptop shipped to him just to take an online test, something he should have been able to do from any desktop, regardless of the OS. However, he was a contractor. Anyone who has worked with a contractor or has been one him/herself knows that contractors are at the bottom of the ladder. Even the front receptionist probably has more pull than the contractor. |
